South Carolina Arts Alliance isn't just about advocacy!
Our Technical Assistance Services have been expanded to
include a Peer Advisory Network - an affordable and accessible
consultant assistance to arts organizations in South Carolina.
South Carolina's arts community abounds with professionals
who possess expertise in a wide variety of areas. Management
professionals selected to participate in the SCAA Peer Advisory
Network can assist arts organizations in identifying and
solving their unique problems through this service. Examples

The
South Carolina Arts Alliance offers a basic consultancy
service - one day of on-site work with some prep and follow-up
time - beginning at of $350 a day. The Client fee would
be $200 (for a current SCAA member) plus expenses. The
Alliance would subsidize the rest of the service at $150.
All consultancies are negotiated based on the content
of the work and time involved. Many of our Peer Advisors
charge substantially higher fees in their profession but
all have agreed to working at a special reduced rate for
the Alliance. The Peer Advisory Network provides at least
three fundamental benefits:

Increase the capacity of the South Carolina Arts Alliance
to better respond to the requests for management and
programming assistance from our community arts organizations
and enhance its serve to constituents
- Establish
a low-cost, sustainable technical assistance delivery
system using the expertise of some of South Carolina's
leading arts administrators trained in organizational
development consulting.
- Contribute
to the professional development of South Carolina's
arts administrators and organizations in better serving
their communities.
