ARTS ADVOCACY WORKSHOP

Following the Legislative Appreciation Luncheon
on
Tuesday, February 12
and in conjunction with
S.C. Arts Advocacy Day activities,
the South Carolina Arts Alliance will present an
Arts Advocacy Workshop
from
3 to 4 PM
conducted by
a member of the
Government Relations team
at the law firm of
Nelson Mullins Riley Scarborough LLC.  

Their offices are located a short walk to their offices from the luncheon site to the
Meridian Building, 1320 Main Street
17th Floor, the ABC Room.

You will receive an overview of the legislative issues, learn effective advocacy strategies, such as the importance of building relationships, connecting your issue with the legislative agenda of your policymaker, the importance of working with the “leadership”, understanding the budget process, and more.

There is no fee to attend this workshop, but advanced reservations are required.
